  • Brown Editing LLC offers a sliding pay scale for indigent clients. We provide high quality, but low-cost editing and proofreading services. If you need help on your project, but don’t know if you can afford the price - talk to us! We will work something out.

    Reduced-cost bundles, packages, and discounts are available for Pell Grant recipients, SAT Waiver Recipients, LSAC Fee Waiver recipients, and GRE Fee Waiver recipients.

  • Yes! At check-out, please select "Klarna" or "Afterpay" as your payment method to utilize a payment plan. We also craft payment plans on an as-needed individual basis for clients experiencing significant financial hardship.

Allison, the sole editor, has also been a member of several different editing teams for over a dozen different publishing projects - from law school textbooks to fiction novels.

  • Generally, Brown Editing prides itself on a quick 48-72 business hours turn around time for a first set of edits, and 4-5 business days for a finished product.

    However, you hire us. We are on your time. We offer expedited services (24-48 hours) for an additional flat fee of $200 for any of our individual essay services, and $350 for any bundle or project over 2000 words.

    Please let us know about any pressing or immediate deadlines upon booking. Communication is key! :)
